Driven by a passion for justice and a commitment to serving his community, Simon has built a successful career as a prosecutor and litigator. He began his legal career as a Deputy District Attorney at the Lane County District Attorney’s Office, where he successfully prosecuted misdemeanor and felony crimes in both criminal and juvenile courts.

Simon further honed his litigation skills as an Assistant Attorney General for the Oregon Department of Justice. During his tenure, he successfully litigated numerous cases in various courts, including, but not limited to, Lane, Douglas, Coos, Curry, Klamath, and Jefferson County Circuit Courts. He gained extensive experience in criminal law, juvenile dependency and delinquency, termination of parental rights, and handled cases in nine different counties across Oregon.

Beyond his legal expertise, Simon is a dedicated public servant who volunteers his time to mentor students at the University of Oregon and other local colleges. He is also a youth group leader at his church, demonstrating his commitment to serving the next generation.

Born in Suwon, South Korea, Simon is fluent in both Korean and English. He is eager to extend his legal services to the Korean community in Oregon, providing exceptional guidance and support in their native language.

When not serving his clients, Simon enjoys spending time with his wife Lisa and their three boys. He is also an avid golfer and enjoys the occasional backyard barbecue.
